Win free tickets from Oregon State Fair’s 150 Giveaway

This year the Oregon State Fair is offering free tickets via The 150 Giveaway: a social media contest in honor of the fair’s 150th year. There are three ways to enter: either make a video, post a photo on instagram or write a six word essay on why you love being an Oregonian. The only hard part is summing up a love of Oregon in just one photo, video or six words!

If you’ve never experienced it, The Oregon State Fair offers everything a state fair should: live music, exhibits, carnival rides and plenty of deliciously naughty fair food. There’s something for every age group and interest. This year’s highlights include:

• Performances by Everclear, Vince Gill, Becky G, Pat Benetar and Eric Burdon and The Animals.
• Discover the Dinosaurs: an engaging hands-on exhibit with moving and replica museum quality dinosaurs.
• Circus performances several groups including Jest in Time’s Big Top Circus Stage & Circus of Fools.
• Dog Town: featuring dog tricks and information from trainers.
• Extreme Creature Feature: exotic animals from Brad’s World of Reptiles.
• Author’s Table: meet 25 local authors and find out about their work.
